Terms of Service
These terms govern your access to and use of Remo, the AI WhatsApp receptionist operated by Remo Technologies Pte. Ltd. (UEN [UEN — to be added]). Please read them carefully — by using Remo you agree to be bound by them.

01Who we are & accepting these terms
Remo is a software service operated by Remo Technologies Pte. Ltd.(“Remo”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a company incorporated in Singapore. These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between us and the business or person who registers for or uses the service (“you”, “your”, the “Customer”).
By creating an account, clicking “Finish setup”, or otherwise using Remo, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our PDPA Notice. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you represent that you are authorised to bind that business.
02What Remo does
Remo connects to your WhatsApp Business number and acts as an automated receptionist. Using artificial intelligence, it reads incoming messages from your customers (“End Users”) and, on your behalf, may answer questions, quote the prices and services you have configured, check availability, create, reschedule or cancel appointments, send reminders and follow-ups, and escalate conversations to you when needed.
Remo is a tool that acts on the information you provide and configure. You remain responsible for your business, your customer relationships, and every appointment, quote or commitment made through your account.
03Eligibility & your account
- You must be at least 18 years old and operating a lawful business to use Remo.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide (services, prices, hours, contact details) and for keeping it up to date — Remo relies on it to answer your customers.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Tell us promptly at hello@remo.sg if you suspect unauthorised access.

05Your responsibilities & acceptable use
You agree that you will:
- Use Remo only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws, including the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”) and the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and Meta's terms.
- Obtain any consent required from your End Users before messaging them, and provide them with the privacy information the PDPA requires. You are the owner of your customer relationships and the party responsible to your End Users for those communications.
- Not use Remo to send spam, unsolicited marketing, or unlawful, deceptive, harassing or harmful content.
- Not attempt to reverse-engineer, resell, scrape, overload, or interfere with the service or its security, and not use it to build a competing product.
06Fees, trials & billing
- Remo is offered on subscription plans, with prices shown at sign-up and on our pricing page (in Singapore Dollars). A free trial may be offered; we may change trial terms at any time.
- Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe, and renew automatically until cancelled. By subscribing you authorise these recurring charges.
- You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable and partial periods are not pro-rated.
- We may change our prices on reasonable notice, with changes taking effect at your next renewal.
07Third-party services
Remo relies on third-party platforms to function — including Meta / WhatsApp (via our messaging partner 360dialog), Anthropic (which powers the AI), Google Calendar, Stripeand email delivery providers. Your use of those features is also subject to the respective third party's terms, and we are not responsible for their availability, acts or omissions. If a third party changes or discontinues its service, some Remo features may be affected.
08Data protection
How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy and PDPA Notice, which form part of these Terms. In handling the messages and personal data of your End Users, Remo acts as a data intermediary processing that data on your behalf and under your instructions; you remain the organisation responsible to those End Users under the PDPA. We will process such data only to provide the service and will protect it with reasonable security arrangements.
09Intellectual property
We (and our licensors) own all rights in the Remo software, branding and content. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during your subscription. You retain ownership of your business content and your customer data; you grant us the limited licence needed to host and process it to provide the service.
10Availability & changes to the service
We work hard to keep Remo running but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may add, change, suspend or remove features, perform maintenance, or update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change to these Terms we will give reasonable notice (for example by email or in-app), and your continued use after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
11Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Remo is provided “as is” and “as available”without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the AI's responses will be accurate, complete or suitable for any particular purpose.
12Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Remo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the service — including any loss arising from an AI-generated response, a missed or incorrect booking, or a third-party platform outage. Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the service in any 12-month period will not exceed the amount you paid us for the service in that period. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
13Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Remoharmless from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your content, your communications with End Users, or your breach of these Terms or of applicable law (including the PDPA or WhatsApp's policies).
14Suspension & termination
You may stop using Remo and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use the service in a way that risks harm to others, our systems, or our relationships with third-party platforms. On termination, your right to use the service ends; we may delete your data after a reasonable period in line with our Privacy Policy.
15Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and you and we submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
